Ajay has served as Globetrotters’ CEO since 2017, providing the firm with its overall strategic vision and leadership in the execution of its goals. An attorney by profession, Ajay first joined Globetrotters in 2011 as general counsel. In 2014, he became chief operating officer and was then appointed CEO.
Ajay, who earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Purdue University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is a licensed attorney who has appeared in over 400 matters in state court, has led a jury trial in state court, and has argued three times before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Deeply committed to civic engagement, Ajay currently serves on the Finance Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. Since 2013, he has been a Commissioner on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Committee on Character and Fitness, First District, which evaluates the general fitness of applicants to the Illinois Bar for practicing law. He also serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee.
Additionally, Ajay is a member of the Young Leaders Committee of The Economic Club of Chicago, an organization that advances the development of civic-minded executives who are committed to building a better society. He also holds a certificate from the Harvard Business School Executive Education Owner/President Management program.
A native of Hyde Park, Illinois, Ajay currently resides in Chicago with his family.
