Hynek leads project management for Globetrotters’ Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Engineering Department. He joined Globetrotters in 2013 as a project manager bringing more than two decades of experience in HVAC design and construction. He has led cross-discipline teams on dozens of large-scale projects totaling more than $100 million – from elevator modernization to water filtration plant modernization to mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and security upgrade services – for federal and local government facilities, senior and public housing, schools and hospitals.
Previously, Hynek served as a senior mechanical engineer for private-sector design firms in the Chicago area. A LEED-certified Professional Engineer with the State of Illinois, he is also a Certified Commissioning Agent.
A native of the Chicago area, Hynek earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
